Stone’s Throw Cottage is located a stone’s throw from Belgrave, Puffing Billy steam train, Trees Adventure Park and Dandenong Ranges National Park. Enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of our self-contained cottage or the comfort of our private suite.
Our Cottage is great for 2 but can take 4 guests. Features include, a cosy open plan living/bedroom area downstairs with a queen bed and sofa-bed. A free standing gas log fire for warmth in Winter and an A/C to keep you cool in Summer. The bathroom and kitchenette are downstairs also. Upstairs is a loft room that has 2 single beds and a separate entrance.
Double French doors open out to a spacious deck, private garden and visiting cockatoos, king parrots, rosellas and kookaburras.
Our Private Suite for 2 is part of our main house, and is completely private. It has it’s own front door with a lovely patio. Perfect for sipping a glass of wine in the afternoon or enjoying a delicious breakfast in the morning.
Our private suite has a comfortable double bed, an adjoining bathroom with claw bath, shower and toilet. Your bedroom has a TV/DVD, kettle, toaster, mini oven and kitchen hutch.
Both the cottage and private suite include free wifi
We are near all that the Dandenong Ranges has to offer and only 60 minutes by train from Flinders St and Southern Cross Stations in Melbourne. Take the Belgrave line and hop off at the last stop and either walk about 10 minutes or call us and we’ll arrange for someone to pick you up.
